Bureau is a beautiful, professional and productive shared office on the Terrace.

Our members are independent people who love doing great work. They include consultants, remote workers, and Wellington-based employees of companies that are headquartered in Auckland, Christchurch, Sydney and the USA.

Some use Bureau fulltime, others use it a few days a week or when they're in town.  

Bureau offers everything you need, and nothing you don't. It has fast fibre Wi-Fi, free printing, a bookable meeting room and a shared kitchen with free coffee and tea. We don't push community, but Bureau has organically developed a collegial and supportive environment for independent professionals. 

It features custom furniture from top New Zealand designer Nathan Goldsworthy, fine art, and productivity-enhancing sit-stand desks from Powercore.

If you're a team, we can maybe set you up on a month-to-month, all inclusive package. It probably won't be in the existing shared office, but it will likely be in the same building. Get in touch.

Bureau coworking space is located in Wellington CBD. We're across from The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor (take their public lift to get to Bureau quickly from Lambton Quay) and the RNZ building at the top of the Terrace. 

We're a downhill walk towards parliament and the Beehive, you can walk down to us from Victoria University pretty quickly, and we're a five minute drive from Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
